 PRE-TREATMENT PREPARATION 

12 HOURS PRIOR Shave the treatment area within 12 hours of your appointment time.
Please do not apply moisturiser or similar products to the particular area. 

3 DAYS PRIOR Do not use products skincare products containing cosmeceutical retinol (topical vitamin A) or hydroquinone (whitening creams). 2 WEEKS PRIOR Avoid solariums, fake tanning, and avoid sun exposure. Avoid , plucking, depilatory creams, waxing and electrolysis.
Do not use the topical prescription retinol.

POST-TREATMENT CARE 

For hair removal and only – Apply cold water to the treated area, use ice packs and apply the recommended product as per your clinician’s advice. Apply SPF 50+ sunscreen lotion every 4 hours. Do your best to avoid excessive sweating, do not take hot showers, do not exercise, take saunas, spa and swimming, shaving, waxing, plucking and exfoliating. 

3 DAYS POST
Continue to apply the recovery cream recommended by your clinician and SPF 50+ sunscreen as instructed. Do not use any active products that contain AHA / BHA or retinol for 3-5 days. For hair removal only – Continue a good skincare routine with an adequate daily amount of moisturiser. 

5 DAYS POST
Gently exfoliate with the microdermal cleansing scrub recommended by your clinician. 

7 DAYS POST
Keep away from sun exposure. Apply an SPF 50+ sunscreen throughout the day.
