The Ultraformer III (7D HIFU) has been on the market for about 10 years, so it's not surprising that there are many counterfeit devices in circulation. However, the Ultraformer MPT HIFU was launched last September, and there are already counterfeit versions on the market. Despite similar appearances, it's crucial to note that the authentic device always produces results, fack one won't!
For authenticating the Ultraformer III (7D HIFU):
Check if 'Ultraformer III' is displayed on the screen.
For depths of 4.5mm and 3.0mm, the power should only reach up to 1.5 J (Ultraformer MPT only up to 1.0js); a counterfeit exceeds this with up to 3.0 J due to incapable to achieve the power. other depths like 2.0mm&1.5mm are much less power. 6.0mm, 9.0mm, &12mm all have different power.
Examine the small picture in the upper left corner for dots that could be adjusted when changing pitches.
There are more differences like noise, LED lights et. Long in short, remember, if a clinic avoids mentioning the brand name of the equipment publicly, it's a red flag. Be vigilant and always ensure authenticity before treatment.
